100 Days of Joyful Movement
When I dreamed up my coaching business, I knew one thing had to be a part of it … 100 Day Projects.
100 days of focusing on building one habit and tweezing apart all of the victories, challenges, and messy process along the way.
For the next 100 days, I’m committing to moving my body every day—not to burn calories, earn food (or rest), hit a pace goal, or prove anything.
But to practice something I believe many of us have forgotten: Movement can be an act of self-trust.
For so many years, I believed movement only “counted” if it was productive, planned, consistent, and measurable.
If I missed a workout, I felt guilty.
If I wasn’t improving, I felt behind.
If I couldn’t do it perfectly, I questioned whether it was worth doing at all.
For the next 100 days, I’m sharing a different story.
One where movement is allowed to be:
Joyful
Flexible
Imperfect
Supportive
Sustainable
Some days it might look like a long run.
Some days it might look like a walk, a hike, stretching on the living room floor, jumping in a lake, or dancing in the kitchen.
The point isn’t what the movement looks like.
The point is listening to my body, living life presently, purging toxic fitness beliefs, and rebuilding compassion with myself.
Because I don’t believe the most powerful transformation is becoming faster, smaller, stronger, or more disciplined.
I think the most powerful transformation is learning to believe in yourself again.
If you’ve ever wanted a healthier, more joyful relationship with movement, I’d love for you to follow along.
